Alp Web Studio is Brendon Clarke. When you hire us, you don't get an account manager and a junior designer offshore. You get the person who actually builds the site, start to finish.
Founder
I'm Brendon, and I build every Alp site myself. Before this I spent years on an escalated technical team at one of North America's largest website companies, handling the hardest problems the front line couldn't. Across thousands of small-business sites, I learned the parts most builders skip: hosting, DNS, SSL, and email deliverability.
So your site is built custom around how you price and win work, on technical footing that holds up. I work fast and to the point, with no wasted steps and no chasing me for updates.
Brendon Clarke on LinkedInAn alp is something you climb on purpose, with the right footing and no shortcuts. That's how a website that has to earn its keep should be built: not decoration, a tool that holds weight when a customer is standing on it at 9 p.m. looking for someone to fix their furnace.
I started Alp because I kept seeing the same thing in the trades: an owner sold a pretty template, then left alone with a site that looked fine and did nothing. The parts that would have turned it into booked jobs, fast hosting, working forms, lead capture, local SEO, are exactly the unglamorous parts most shops skip. The owner is the one who pays for it in missed work. That gap is the whole reason Alp exists.
A value without a practice behind it is just a poster. Here's what each one actually means.
The fair question nobody asks out loud. Here are the plain answers.
Hosting, backups, security, and uptime monitoring are automated. They run around the clock whether I'm at my desk or not, so your site staying online never depends on me picking up.
For content updates, I usually turn requests around the same business day, and within one to two business days at the latest. If something's urgent and I'm heads-down on a build, a text gets bumped to the front.
Your site and its automation keep working the whole time, that's the point of automating them. For hands-on requests, I let clients know in advance when I'll be away and when I'll be back, so nothing's a surprise.
Your website files go with you. Same as the pricing page says: cancel any time and you keep your site. The dashboard and estimator are my software, but your site and your leads are yours, so you're never stranded.
"Very professional from information gathering to design and development. To say they were efficient in all phases is an understatement."
A text or email usually gets a same-day reply on business days. If I'm mid-build and heads-down, urgent messages still get bumped to the front, that's the upside of dealing with the builder directly.
Just send what you want changed, text, photo, hours, a new section, and I make it. On the Business plan those content updates are included, usually turned around the same day, with no per-edit invoice.
No. I design and build every site myself, here in Halifax. There's no offshore team and no white-labelled reseller; the person you talk to is the person writing the code.
We scope it together and I quote it before any work starts. Bigger builds, portals, or web apps run as Custom projects, billed in stages, and you own that work outright.
